The event was attended by prominent government officials, education stakeholders, parents and partners, adding to the grandeur of the ceremony.

In his commencement speech, B. Elias Shoniyin, Managing Director of Africa Development Management Associates, emphasized the importance of integrity and resilience for the graduates. He highlighted that while education is crucial, integrity remains the cornerstone of a successful and impactful career, especially in environments where shortcuts are common.

“Let integrity guide your actions and decisions… Your reputation is your most valuable asset, and it is built on the foundation of trust. An ethical approach to your career will earn you respect and open doors to opportunities that are closed to those who compromise their principles,” Shoniyin advised.

Supporting this sentiment, the Dean of Cuttington Graduate School of Global Affairs noted that graduates, with integrity, could serve as catalysts for change and beacons of hope for future generations, with the support of every well-meaning Liberian. Shoniyin also urged the graduates to embrace lifelong learning, seek growth opportunities, and remain open to new ideas to make a significant difference in a constantly changing world.

Since its establishment 24 years ago, Carver Christian University has been recognized for its academic excellence and dedication to providing quality education and resources. The institution continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusivity by offering a 100% tuition waiver for physically challenged students and substantial tuition waivers for students in theology, military, paramilitary, public health, education, and business programs. This commitment enhances educational accessibility for a broader range of students.

The university’s dedication to education is further demonstrated through the construction of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, fostering quality research opportunities for science students.

Celebrating its 23rd graduation, Carver Christian University continues to uphold its mission of providing excellent education and preparing students for future success.
