Despite being considered underdogs in the Knockout competition, Supreme Girls showed no mercy as they handed Amazon KC a crushing 9-0 defeat, securing the Knockout title in their debut year.
Supreme Girls capitalized on defensive errors by Amazon in the 3rd and 6th innings, leading to their worst defeat of the season.
Their formidable pitching posed a serious challenge for the Amazon players, who struggled to connect with the ball on the kicking diamond.
In addition to the giant-sized trophy, Supreme Girls were awarded a cash prize of one thousand US dollars, generously provided by Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph.
Senator Saah Joseph, who has shown great interest in the Kickball league, personally presented the trophy and cash prize. He pledged to advocate for further support for kickball and encouraged club owners to remain focused on promoting the game.
Supreme Girls’ coach, Eric Junior, making his first appearance in the LKF Knockout competition, commended his players for their hard work and determination, emphasizing that they did not underestimate the strength of Amazon KC.
Reaching the final served as additional motivation for the players, driving them to give their best performance on the final day, ultimately securing their well-deserved victory on Sunday.
