Monrovia- Liberia Football Association Women’s upper league race is continuing to heats up day after day with entertaining matches as last season’s runners-up Ambassadors FC and Shaita Angels proving to be serious title contenders.

Ambassador FC who missed out on the title last season seems over determine to win the title as they are 3rd on the league table following their 2-1 victory over Soccer Ambassador FC over the weekend.
Midfielder Josephine Dennis of Ambassador FC was the star player of the day went she net in a brace to sealed a hard fought win for her club.
Josephine brace however took her goal of the season so far to three after five matches played.
Ambassadors consider as one of the best female teams in Liberia is still continuing their excellent display of football that made them a title contender last season.
The Upper Women’s league club players are still struggling to recover mentally from the protest that saw them lose the league last season.
However, their results are proving to be a motivational for the players and serving as encouragement to boast their chances to keep fighting for the title.
Current Ambassador has 12 points from five games four points behind league leaders Shaita Angeles.
Meanwhile Ambassadors will meet Stages Queens in their next league match.
In other matches played over the weekend Shaita Angels maintain perfect start to Orange National Women’s League campaign with a comfortable win over Bassa Girls FC.
Miatta Morris scored a hat-trick and a goal from Erica Parson were enough to beat Bassa Girls 4-0 in their Orange National Women’s League on Saturday October 28, 2023 at the George Weah Technical Center.
The Girls of Shaita Angels remain undefeated after six games with five wins and one draw a record that has placed them at the top of the table with 16 points so far.
Also former League champions Earth Angles had Rebecc Tarr to thank as she scored the needed goal for them.
Rebecca Tarr saved Earth Angels FC from another defeat in the Orange National Women’s league when she stepped up to score in the 75th minute, to ensure victory for Earth Angels who
