Monrovia – Montserrado County District # 6 Representative Rev. Samuel Enders Thursday donated sets of uniforms to the Capitol Building Security Service (CSS) and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in an effort to appreciate them for services rendered over the years.

The Capitol Building Security Service personnel are security guards assigned at the Legislature to guard the facility and occupants while the Emergency Medical Services are health care providers working to aid in instant medical attention in communities and on ambulances.
According to Rep. Enders, his gesture is in no way overshadowing his colleagues at the legislature, but as a means of giving back to service providers on their behalf. “It is always good to appreciate these people because they are contributing their services to national growth and development so we cannot ignore that,” he said.
The uniforms presentation was made in the yard of the capitol building in Monrovia. Representative Enders lauded the service providers for their meaningful contributions to society and cautioned them to do more in saving lives. “Every morning I come at the capitol here these are the first people I get to see providing security at all the entrances of this place so they are very special and we must help to encourage them,” he stated.
Rep. Enders did not attach any monetary value to the uniforms but said it meets the standard of security and medical uniforms of both organizations.
Both the director the Capitol Building Security Service and the head of the Emergency Medical Services expressed thanks and appreciated Rep. Enders for the gesture while stating that the lawmaker’s intervention was timely.
They pledged their commitment to continuous services to the people of Liberia through their capacities as a means of contributing to the society and its people. “We are very glad to receive these sets of uniforms which will help us in the discharge of our duties and we will remain committed to serving our people.”
