MONROVIA — Polls have closed in parts of Liberia, but people who are already in the queue will be allowed to vote in accordance with NEC regulations.
The National Elections Commission’s regulations state that polling activities will end by 6:00 PM, but individuals in line before that time will be permitted to vote.
Liberia experienced a significant turnout today, marking an unprecedented event in Liberian politics over the past three national elections.
The turnout will determine whether they will continue with the current system or opt for a change. However, the final decision will be announced by the electoral body and will be a crucial factor in shaping the future.”
