Liberian defensive midfielder Theo Nimely completed a high-profile move to Myanmar National League giants Yangon United FC, signing a one-year contract ahead of the club’s highly anticipated campaign in the 2026/27 AFC Challenge League and the domestic season.
In an emotional farewell message shared with supporters, Nimely expressed his deep gratitude to the club’s management, technical staff, teammates, and fans for their unwavering support throughout his time with the “Soccer Missionaries.”
“I write with gratitude to say thank you for the opportunity and the wonderful two years together,” Nimely said. “It was nothing but a good relationship and friendship throughout the journey.”
