The Manager of the National Road Fund, Mrs. Joseta Neufville-Wento, Manager of the National Road Fund of Liberia (NRF), is expected to participate as a speaker at the Africa Road Builders – TrophĂ©e BabacarNDIAYE Inaugural Conference 2026, scheduled for April 15–19, 2026, in Abidjan.

The high-level international conference, organized by Acturoutes in collaboration with the African Media Network for Finance and Infrastructure (MIFA) and in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB), will convene key stakeholders across Africa’s infrastructure, transport, and financing sectors.

Originally slated to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the conference has been relocated to Abidjan due to prevailing circumstances in the Middle East. Despite the change in venue, organizers have confirmed that the program and schedule remain unchanged.

The 2026 conference is held under the theme: â€śInvesting in Roads, Investing in Transport: For Prosperity in Africa.” Discussions will focus on enhancing road infrastructure development, mobilizing sustainable financing, and strengthening partnerships between governments, financiers, and contractors.

This year’s edition is convened under the High Patronage of H.E. JoĂŁo Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola, and under the patronage of the African Development Bank and its President, Dr. Sidi Ould Tah.

With extensive experience in road fund administration, infrastructure financing, and institutional strengthening, Mrs. Neufville-Wento is expected to contribute to key discussions by sharing Liberia’s experiences and strategies in road sector financing, particularly the role of dedicated road funds in ensuring efficient and accountable infrastructure development.
