Monrovia – Abu Konneh, an officer of the Armed Forces of Liberia, has been linked to the arrest, torture, beating, and gruesome killing of a man identified as Abraham Hanson Wleh in the Chicken Soup Factory Community.

The deceased was apprehended violently by suspect Abu and some men on allegation of theft on January 20, 2023, and later manhandled and tortured.
According to an LNP investigation, the deceased was accused of burglarizing the room of one Kelvin Dour and made away with his flat-screen television and other items.
Investigation revealed that immediately the deceased was apprehended by defendant Dour, they began to tussle and commotion drew the attention of defendant Abu, the AFL soldiers, and his colleagues to be identified who arrested deceased Abraham and began questioning and torturing him.
During the continued beating on Abraham, he pointed to his friend called Edwin Flomo as having been involved with the stealing of the television.
The two men were handcuffed, and stripped naked, while the beating was ongoing by the AFL soldier and his colleagues.
The deceased was forcibly placed in the trunk of a green Toyota Corolla belonging to defendant Abu.
Victim Abraham pleaded with the defendants to have him released from the handcuff but the defendants intensified the beating and torture until the deceased fainted in their midst and later regained consciousness after pouring water on him.
Thereafter, victims Flomo and Abraham were again taken to the Turning Point in Chicken Soup Factory, this time under immense torture, according to the police investigation.
Defendant Abu decided to release victim Flomo but stated that he was carrying the deceased Abraham along with him and have him killed.
However, the following day in the evening hours, Abraham was discovered in Du-River that flows under the Double Bridge, on the Japan Free Way with his both feet and hands tied.
Based on that, Kelvin Dour, was charged with murder, criminal facilitation and criminal attempt to commit murder, and along with his accomplices who are currently awaiting trial.
Those on the run include Abu Konneh, Edwin Flomo others to be identified.
