
Monrovia – The management of Sethi Ferro Fabrik Inc. has confirmed an industrial accident at its Gardnersville facility, which resulted in the tragic death of an employee assigned to the company’s Oxygen Plant.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the company expressed profound regret over the incident and extended sincere condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased, identified as Saah Samukai.
“Our employees are the heart of our operations, and their safety is our top priority. This loss is deeply painful for all of us,” the company stated.
Sethi Ferro Fabrik Inc. also clarified earlier media reports suggesting multiple casualties.
“Contrary to reports of two fatalities and multiple injuries, we confirm that only one person died, and no other injuries were sustained. Immediate action was taken following the incident, and we are fully cooperating with local authorities as they investigate.”
The company assured the public that it has initiated direct engagement with Samukai’s family and is providing all necessary support during this difficult time.

Sethi Ferro Fabrik emphasized that safety remains a core priority and that it adheres to strict industry safety standards. However, the company acknowledged that despite its safety measures, no system is infallible, and it is taking the incident very seriously.
