Liberia: RIA Workers Union Commend Appointment of Bishop John Allan Klayee

MARGIBI – Roberts International Airport Workers Union (RIAWU) has commended President George Weah for appointing Bishop John Allan Klayee as Acting Managing Director the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA)

RIAWU thru its Acting President Matthew Boakai said, Bishop Klayee has the requisite experience as Chair of the Board and a former employee of the Roberts International Airport, as such, the appointment made by the President is in the right direction.

According to him, the experience of Bishop Klayee, makes him best suited for the job and urged him to create a productive and harmonious working environment between the workers and management.

Mr. Boakai expressed confidence that the Klayee’s administration will continue on the progressive path started by previous administration. The RIAWU Acting President then pledged the union’s unflinching commitment to the LAA Management team under Bishop Klayee so as to foster growth and productivity in the aviation sector.
