Liberia: ‘Prophetess’ Calls For Nat’l Fast And Prayer to Avert Weah Overthrow

MONROVIA – Ahead of the 2023 general and presidential elections in Liberia, a Liberian Prophetess has revealed plans by unknown persons to oust President George Manneh Weah from office.

Liberians are expected to go to the polls on October 10 to elect their new leaders, according to a timetable released by the National Elections Commission (NEC).

Mother Catherine Sally Kamayan of the Victory Healing Deliverance Ministries claimed that she received a revelation from God that unknown men will establish several groups to cause instability in Liberia by removing President Weah from power.

She made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with FrontPage Africa in Brewerville on Sunday, January 8.

She added that the unknown armed men attacked the barracks at the time soldiers of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) were unprepared.

She disclosed that though she received the revelation from God two months ago, she has been panicking to deliver the message.

Mother Kamayan pointed out that her decision taken to deliver the revelation was based upon God’s consistency in mandating her to spread the message and a strange happening she encountered few days ago with a lighted candle.

“It was on November 21 and the Lord revealed to be during my Fast and Prayer that seven groups formed themselves together to bring evil in the nation. The Lord revealed a man small in the body with arm in his hands; and the Lord said when he doesn’t stop what he is doing, he will put him to disgrace.”

“The Lord has asked me to carry the message but my husband has been afraid for me to bring the message we continuing the fast. Last night, the Lord repeated to me that “you don’t want to carry my word. If you don’t carry my word I will disgrace you. Go and tell the Liberian people that what is about to happen in the nation, when they tried it, they will be put to shame and disgrace.”

Mother Kamayan cautioned Liberians against doubting the revelation she claimed to have received from God.

To prevent the revelation from being fulfilled, she called on Liberians to fast and pray for the nation for three days.

“The Lord says Liberians who have casting ears and are very hard to believe, tell them to believe the word of God. The Lord said he’s vex and if anyone tries the President, they tried he Jehovah. The Lord said they are grouping to kill the President and make Liberians to run. But the Lord said through fasting and praying, we will overcome the enemies.”

The strange happening

“Last night while sitting down, the Lord revealed to me to buy candle and I never had it. My husband sent for the candle. I blessed and lighed  the candle and sleep was in my eyes. During devotion this morning, the candle turned to blood in the plate.  I was astonished and the Lord said to me “blood is about to enter the nation and Liberians who have casting ears, he is angry with them and anybody try the President, they tried him.”

Quoting Isaiah 54:17, Mother Kamayan admonished Liberians against planning or executing evil ploy to undemocratically remove President Weah from office.

Speaking further, Mother Kamayan disclosed that this is not the first time she has received a revelation from God concerning President Weah.

“This is not the first time I have received a message for the President. I carried a message to his party’s headquarters to the Chairman during election time; but he did not present it in my name. He presented it in his own name. The revelation was, I saw George Weah was placed in a big pot that was covered. The Holy Spirit said “did you look in the pot”, and I said no. The Holy Spirit said “open the top with fire”. When I opened the pot, George Manneh Weah jumped from in the pot”. And the Lord said, “the disgrace and shame that they want to bring upon him, I God removed it over him. But disgrace will fall upon the sinners. It came to pass and I saw it.”

She recalled that in 2021, she saw, in a vision, a bold-legged “giving George Weah out to his enemies.”

She said though she has been requested by the Lord to render prayers along with President Weah, she has been finding it difficult to reach the Liberian leader.

Madam Kamayan added that Liberia and its citizens will move forward in terms of economic and infrastructural growth and development if they prioritize fasting and praying ahead of the elections.

She urged citizens to love their leaders and keep on trusting God for the betterment of their nation.

She stressed the need for citizens, including government officials to ask God for mercy and forgiveness if they must succeed in their respective lives and endeavors.

Prophesies fulfilled

Mother Kamayan has revealed prophesies that have been actualized in Liberia.

During her stay in Ghana several years ago, she prophesied the 12-year rule of Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf as President of Liberia.

She also prophesied that President Weah will be the successor of Madam Sirleaf barely few years to the conduct of the 2017 general and presidential elections.

She used the occasion to also reveal that President Weah will also serve Liberia and its citizens for two terms.

Mother Kamayan also prophesied the conviction of renowned Liberian Prophet Abraham Kromah from Islam to Christianity, the collapse of the Caldwell Bridge during the night hours, among others.

Latest revelation comes following arms discovery

The latest revelation given by Mother Kamayan comes barely few days after Joint Security apparatus assigned at the Freeport of Monrovia arrested a huge quantity of high-powered guns and ammunition often used by the military and highly skilled combat personnel at the Freeport of Monrovia located on the Bushrod Island, outside the capital.

The weapons were discovered in several caches loaded onto a container shipped to Liberia through the port.

Last week, the Liberia National Police (LNP) announced that they are investigating the motive behind the illegal importation of the arms and ammunitions.

According to the Inspector General of Police, Col. Patrick Sudue, through joint security efforts, they managed to confiscate the container which was shipped to Liberia by a Liberian residing in Texas, United States identified as Boye Benjamin Baker. He reportedly works for American Airlines.

“We had the intelligence so we went to the Freeport and confiscated the container, opened the container – the first few boxes that were searched, we saw some heavy weapons, a lot of them, we’re talking about military weapons. As we speak the container is sealed up, we’re going to search the entire container,” he said.

Col. Sudue disclosed that at least 15 assorted riffles have been discovered so far. “But those 15 weapons if you get them you can destabilize this country because those are high-ferocity-powered firing weapons. We’re talking about weapons that use 20-caliber rounds, 30-caliber rounds – those are not joking weapons,” Col Sudue said. Several ammunitions were also discovered.

The Inspector General disclosed that some of the ammunition discovered did not match the guns they have discovered so far confiscated.

He said, they had to halt the inspection of the container for security reasons but would inspect the entire content of the container on Friday.

He also disclosed that the investigation will now focus on the motive behind the importation of the weapon. “We need to know who are those behind the importation of those weapons and who were those going to use the weapons,” he said.

The arms and ammunition were uncovered following the issuance of a search and seizure warrant in connection with a classified leak of information from an unidentified man.

Arrests

Three people have so far been arrested in connection with the illegal importation of the arms and are in police custody. One Barbra Debba of Old Road community who was to receive the consignment is among those arrested. The broker identified as Melvina has also been arrested.

During the search of the consignee’s home (Boye Baker) in Brewersville, more weapons were discovered in the ceiling. Also found hiding in the ceiling is a man identified as Tamba who is also in police custody.

While the police have beef-up up scrutiny due to concerns as to how this ammunition have being smuggled into the country, with fear of consequences it may have on the pending elections if tough security measure is not put into place, the LNP has announced a major inspection of vehicle across the country to avoid security threats.

As part of security parole, LNP said it will remove unauthorized security features from vehicles across the country.

Thursday security seizure uncovered over ten document-preserved boxes loaded with the stock of the rifles discovered according to security sources mounted with long-range lance glasses including M203 launcher gadgets, American-made M16, and AK47, among others.
