MONROVIA – President George Weah is holding a closed-door meeting with members of the Senate.
Details of the meeting is yet not known, but it is believed that the Senate is acting on the advice of former Pro-Tempore Cletus Wortorson.
Mr. Wortorson reportedly challenged them show leadership by meeting with all sides to calm the political tension in the country.
He specifically recommended a meeting with the President and Senators to discuss the state of affairs of the country.
Accompanied by his Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor, the meeting is expected to be a frank lengthy discussion.
