MONROVIA – FrontPageAfrica has learned that more than 5,000 residents of Karquekpo in Sinoe County may be unable to participate in today’s voting due to damaged ballot papers.
Reports indicate that the ballot papers were spoiled by water during their transportation to the county. A reliable source with knowledge of the situation informed FrontPageAfrica that the ballots were exposed to heavy rainfall as a result of the poor road conditions in the Southeast.
FrontPageAfrica has not been able to obtain official comments from the National Elections Commission on this situation.
Please note that this is a developing story, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
