The unveiling ceremony, held at the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) Administrative Building, showcased a mix of experienced and emerging talents the club believes can restore its competitive edge.

The new signings include Abdulai Koulibali, Kemoh Kamara, Terry Sackor, John Momo, Darius Kah, Fredrick Bono, Sheku Sheriff, Daniel Paye, Saah Nyumah, Karleo Karfiah, Nicholas Slewion, Emmanuel Deanneh, Ezekiel Solee, William Lape, Aloysius Davies, and Diamond Harrison.

It can be recalled that the Oilers finished seventh last season, a result the club’s management has vowed to improve upon. With renewed determination and strong backing from the LPRC leadership, the team is setting its sights firmly on the league title.

LPRC Managing Director Hon. Amos B. Tweh, who also serves as a key supporter of the club, reaffirmed management’s full commitment to the team’s success.

“We don’t want to be mere participants; we want to be serious contenders for the championship,” Tweh declared. “LPRC Oilers is a proud institution, and our goal is to return to the top where we belong.”

Head Coach J. Kaetu Smith expressed confidence that the new additions bring a balance of skill, character, and hunger needed to compete at the highest level of Liberian football.

“These players were carefully selected based on performance and potential. They are motivated and ready to fight for the badge,” Smith said.

The club’s leadership also emphasized the importance of unity, professionalism, and community engagement as central pillars of its new season approach.

Backed by the company’s slogan  “Keeping the Wheels of Industry Turning” , Oilers are now hoping to translate that same energy into the football arena as they gear up for what promises to be a competitive LFA First Division campaign.

For LPRC Oilers, this new chapter is not just about rebuilding it’s about reclaiming glory and reminding fans why the Oilers remain one of Liberia’s most storied football clubs.
