Both individuals have been suspended for one month for breaching organizational policy by allowing access to a center under strict closure.
The LFA emphasized that the Technical Center remains completely off-limits due to ongoing maintenance, and “no team or external group is authorized to use it under any circumstance,” according to the statement.
Residents Protest Viral Videos
The situation escalated Friday morning when Careysburg residents staged a protest at the George Weah Technical Center after watching viral videos showing LISCR FC entering the facility for training.
Protesters accused the LFA of double standards and demanded accountability, questioning why the facility closed to the public, clubs, and league matches since 2024 was being used behind closed doors.
Residents expressed shock at seeing the LISCR FC team bus, players, and technical staff entering the compound despite the FA’s long-standing ban.
