Liberia: In Margibi County: Doebou Inter Estate Administrators Build New Road For the First Time

MARGIBI COUNTY – Residents of the Doemon Inter Estate in Margibi County  have begun the construction of a brand new road worth more than two hundred thousand United States Dollars in the area.

The Chief Administrator of the Doemon Estate, Abraham Garway , speaking with our reporter over the weekend, disclosed that the new road under construction is estimated at more than ten kilometers (10 km).

He disclosed that the road under construction begins from the main RIA Highway Road stretching deep inside the Doemon Inter Estate.

According to Mr. Galway, the more two hundred thousand United States Dollars road project is fully funded by only land administrators of the Doemon Inter-Estate.

He added that the road project when completed will ease transportation difficulties for more than nine towns and villages with over five thousand residents.

Meanwhile, Mr. Garway has called on Government and NGOs to kindly help construct clinics and schools for inhabitants of the area. This appeal, according to him, comes in the wake of the lack of schools and clinics in the entire area.

The Doemon Estate is situated between Folay  Town and Kpeye Town on the right side heading from the Roberts International Airport.
