Liberia: Gbomai Bestman Johnson Foundation Donates to Quadruplets’ Mother

Buchanan, Grand Bassa – As a result of a story published by FrontPage Africa concerning a teenage woman, who had delivered four babies at once, Gbomai Bestman Johnson Foundation on Tuesday, July 17, presented several items to the 21-year-old in Grand Bassa.

She got interested to help after she read the story.

Madam Bestman Johnson, founder of the foundation told FrontPage Africa in a phone conversation that her organization is aimed at giving back to the needed.

She said the Foundation is based in the United States of America where she resides presently.

“We have helped several children in Liberia. When I read the story of the lady, who gave birth to the four babies, I was moved to send some contributions to Liberia as I prepare to do more,” she said.

“The Gbomai Bestman Foundation Inc. is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of mothers and children through pre and postnatal care, nutrition, child healthcare, family planning, and health education to reduce maternal and child mortality rate in Liberia,” Gbomai stated.

The foundation provided a set of baby tub, clothes, detergents, body lotions, and a pack of baby diapers, which contain over 50 pieces, powder, and several other items.

Pinky Joe, the mother of the kids, which are now three, was happy to receive the gifts from by the foundation.

“All I have to say is thank you because I had no money to buy a bathing tub, clothes, soap and all these plenty of gifts that I have received,” Pinky said.
