With the confidence of a child who knows her purpose, Princess Dorlecious stood before her peers and handed out Christmas gifts, turning an ordinary school day into a memory that will linger long after the season has passed.
Dressed in bright festive colors and wearing a joyful smile, Princess Dorlecious moved from child to child, offering gifts that symbolized far more than their material value. For many of the students, it was not just about receiving presents, but about being seen and remembered by someone their own age. Laughter filled the school yard, and the excitement of the children reflected the deeper meaning of the moment, one shaped by kindness and the simple desire to make others happy.
Princess Dorlecious explained that her motivation came from her heart and her understanding of what Christmas represents. She said she wanted her friends to feel joy and to know that they mattered during the holiday season.

“I wanted to share my toys and gifts because Christmas is about love and making other children smile,” she said as her peers listened attentively. She added that seeing others happy made her happy too, saying, “When my friends are happy, I feel happy, and I want them to remember that God loves them.” In her gentle words, she also shared a lesson she has already learned at a young age, noting that giving to others is important and that she wanted her friends to enjoy Christmas just as she does.
Beyond the cheerful atmosphere, the event carried a deep sense of history and family connection. The Chief Compound Assembly of God School holds a special place in the life of Princess Dorlecious’ father, Dorbor D. Kpangbala, who once walked the same grounds as a student during his elementary school years.

Standing before students, parents, and teachers, Kpangbala reflected on the journey that brought him back to the school, this time as a parent watching his daughter give back to the same institution that helped shape his early life.
In his address, Kpangbala spoke passionately about the importance of education, discipline, and faith, drawing from his own experiences as a former student of the school. He reminded the children that their present circumstances do not define their future and encouraged them to believe in their potential regardless of where they come from.
He emphasized that education remains one of the strongest tools for personal and community transformation, urging students to remain focused, respectful, and committed to their studies. He also reminded them that giving back to one’s roots is a responsibility that should never be forgotten.
Describing the moment as deeply emotional, Kpangbala said returning to the school with his daughter was a powerful reminder of how far he had come. “This school laid the foundation for who I am today, and returning here with my daughter to give back is one of the proudest moments of my life,” he said.
He praised Princess Dorlecious for her compassion and understanding, noting, “Seeing my five-year-old understand the value of giving tells me that the future can be brighter if we teach our children love early.” He encouraged the students, telling them that greatness can begin right where they are if they remain committed, disciplined, and faithful.
The ceremony also featured reflections from Princess Dorlecious’ grandfather, Reverend Jacob Sameway, the Spiritual Father of the Assembly of God Church that houses the school. He described the occasion as a blessing not only for the children but for the entire church and surrounding community.
In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of raising children with a balance of education and spiritual values, noting that when children are taught love, generosity, and responsibility, society as a whole.

Reverend Sameway praised Princess Dorlecious for reflecting the true spirit of Christmas and the teachings of Christ through her actions. He reminded those in attendance that leadership and service are not defined by age but by the willingness to care for others.
He reaffirmed the church’s commitment to supporting the school and encouraging initiatives that promote unity, compassion, and service among children and families.
Students and parents who attended the ceremony expressed admiration and gratitude for the young organizer and her family. One student described the experience as unforgettable, saying it made her feel special to receive a gift from someone her own age and inspired her to be kinder and more generous. Another student shared that the event showed her that even children can make a difference and promised to share with others whenever she can.
Parents also reflected on the significance of the day, with one expressing appreciation to Princess Dorlecious and her family for remembering the school and bringing joy to children who might not have received Christmas gifts. Another parent noted that beyond the presents, the messages shared by Princess Dorlecious father and grandfather inspired both parents and children to place greater value on education, faith, and community service.
As prayers were offered, songs were sung, and laughter echoed across the school yard, Princess Dorlecious stood surrounded by smiling faces, her small act of kindness leaving a powerful impression. In that moment, the true meaning of Christmas was clearly on display, reminding everyone present that even the smallest hands can carry the biggest messages when guided by love, family, and faith.
