Monrovia – Amid the huge challenges confronting Liberia’s transport system, the Infinity Shuttle Service has launched a shared ride and point-point airport shuttle service in the country.

The formal launched of business was held on Tuesday April 17, at the head office of the firm’s office in Monrovia.
Serving as Chief launcher of the project, former Liberia’s Vice President Joseph N. Boakai admonished Liberians from all walks of life to promote and support one another to move forward.
“Liberians, if we always do, we should learn to patronize Liberians because that’s the only way Liberia can move forward,” he said.
Joseph F. Johnson, Manager of Infinity Shuttle Service, said his firm’s investment is intended to provide safe and comfortable transport system in the country.
Johnson said it will reduce the vast number of vehicles plying the street.
He said the vision of the company is to be the premier leader in the vehicle rental service industry by providing quality services that exceeds the expectations of customers.
“This service we are trying to offer or the service we are launching today is the Shuttle service to the airport. This service will integrate within the schedule from the airport so that the several flights that are coming in country, three to four times a week or seven days a week, so that we can tighten our schedules with their schedules,” he said.
Johnson noted that the shuttle service will help alleviate the challenges in the transport service system, noting that company vehicles are fully air-conditioned with internet service surf or access the information online while you ride.
“This shuttle service will alleviate the burden on all of us and we will change our schedules as the flight schedule changes. Our buses are comfortable and air-conditioned; your fare includes two pieces of check-in luggage, one carry-on piece, and one personal piece. Maximum passengers per shuttle will be sixteen,” Johnson said.
Tickets to board the Infinity Shuttle Service are purchase at the head office of the company on 12th Street or at the RIA Terminal or by using the QR code online system, he said.
For his part, the Minister of Transport, Samuel A. Wlue welcomed the investment and pledged to support the initiative, terming it as an innovative and new project.
“We came from the Ministry of Transport to show our support to this very innovative and much needed exercise. When I was told about the initiative, I went to find out how many shuttle companies we have in this country and I found none. There was none that was environmental friendly that will reduce carbon dioxide,” Wlue noted.
