Grader Not Degrader

Some people say that they are the graders who grade things up. But in reality, they grade things down. For example, the Ministry of Public Works has some signs up in Liberia showing that they are upgrading the roads in the community. But the facts show that they are doing nothing with respect to community roads.

The roads would be worse were the community not to have taken action to upgrade the roads. The Ministry says that it paid the Contractor but the Contractor ran away. The Ministry lied because the government does not pay in advance. Check budget implementation and you will find out that allocation does not mean implementation. An allocated item gets implemented only if there is money and that item is prioritized by government.

But the lies are being found out by the people through awareness raising. This methos is using ways that motivate people who love Liberia to take relevant actions within the Rule of Law to change the bad prevailing situation to the good enduring situation.

The bad prevailing situation is poverty generating while the good enduring situation is poverty alleviating. The people of Liberia are poor and they prefer to get out of poverty as soon as possible. They also know that poverty has become the pretext for violence.

This information has come to them through awareness raising within the Rule of Law. This way is non-violent. This way is succeeding as seen in the community roads being built and other community projects being implemented. Check out the facts.

The facts show that persons with good records are being elected to change the bad system of injustice to the good system of Justice. The system of Justice is the indispensable ingredient for Peace and Progress in Liberia and in any other country.
