Monrovia – FrontPageAfrica and Journalists covering the Judiciary under the banner of Judicial Reporters Association have joined journalists across the country to mourn the death of fallen colleague Moses Welemongai Ciapha.
Journalist Ciapha who was a long serving reporter at the Judiciary of which he was nick-name the “Doyen”, died on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in his home town of Sanoyea in Bong County after a brief illness.
He has since been buried.
Ciapha was the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) Judicial Award Winner 2013 prior to his death worked for several other dailies, including the Heritage, Daily Observer, Punch Newspaper, The News and lastly the Inquirer newspaper.
FrontPage Africa says it recognizes the numerous condolence messages that continued to be extended to it by officials and friends of the court since his death.
The Judicial Reporter Network of which he was part has said a memorial service at a later date to be announced following consultation with the bereaved family.
