Fadel Hails Players for Reaching LBA Final

He said the excellent basketball skills displayed by his players helped them reach the final of the ongoing league that will be played against Cestos Mogars in a best-out-of-five series.

He added as double champions, to defend their title and reach the final for the fourth time is something that needs serious appreciation.

Despite his team’s performance during the season, Fadel has called on his players to keep on their intensive training as they prepare for the grand finale.

Barrolle dumped LPRC Oilers 56 points to 42 points and 70 points to 39 points in their best-out-of-three play-off encounters to reach the final.

Coach Fadel emphasized that Barrolle as defending champions of the LBA first were not satisfied despite performing beyond expectations, which he added helped them qualify for the grand final with only three defeats at the hands of LPRC Oilers, Cestos Mogars and NPA Pythons respectively.

Said Coach Fadel: “I’m paying this tribute to my players because they deserve to be honored for the brilliant performances they displayed against our opponents from the start of LBA national league until we qualified for the grand finale against Cestos Mogars, and I’m urging them not to leave any stone untouched in the grand finale.”

He extended thanks and appreciation to his team’s president and other officials of Barrolle for their continued support to the team progress, adding it has contributed immensely to their qualification for the grand final of the LBA first division league.

Barrolle and Cestos Mogars are expected to participate in FIBA Zone three club championships after reaching the grand final of the LBA first division championship.
