Monrovia – TipMe, an electronic payment service provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with My Watchman, a new mobile app with 24 hours secured monitoring and emergency dispatch command center.
Liberia is the first country on the African Continent to implement TipMe digital revolution in mobile money wallet, online voucher purchases, bill payment services, online international remittances, business services, salary payments, and eCommerce platform.
The My Watchman app is a registered trademark of Advanced Converged Technologies LLC (ACT), a technology company with regional offices in Liberia. It showcases a smarter and safer way to protect family and property with access to help anywhere and anytime.
My Watch offers Fire Accident Service, Medical Service, Security Alert, Domestic Violence, and the newest service which happens to be the Road Side Assistance.
The partnership will allow individuals who have downloaded the My Watchman app, pay for the emergency services using TipMe electronic platform.
The Sales Manager of TipMe, Reindorf Haligah, said the agreement signed by TipMe and My Watchman will enable customers to pay for the service of My Watchman without stress.
“A lot of people are trying to do business in a very convenient way. Instead of you driving all the way to the My Watchman Office, you have an opportunity to pay for the service using TipMe. And so, TipMe now comes in to help you in that direction.”
He called on people who have not registered for the TipMe electronic platform to sign up for the TipMe app on the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
“If you want to have the convenience as I want, earnestly if you are going to move from place to place, imagine the traffic, the time, everything that is possible to do business, we (TipMe) are in the position to do just that. The world is moving faster and so we got to move with its speed,” he said.
Oliver Wleh Klark Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of RoviaGate Technology Company, a technology company that is providing emergency service. He is optimistic that the partnership will reduce crimes and help with other emergency services in a more convenient way.
“This partnership is good because we are using technology to solve problems,” Mr. Klark said.
Aaron Ireland, the Business and Sale Development Representative of My Watchman added: “You don’t have to call in case of emergency; you just need to open the app and raise the alert and in less than a minute My Watchman is going to verify your location and dispatch the relevant service to you.
He continued: “I want for you to download the app because we are taking emergency response to the next level.”
