Monrovia-Since the indictment against Speaker Alex J. Tyler by the Special Presidential Task Force for his alleged role in a bribery saga reported by Global Witness, there has been attempts to oust the Speaker spearheaded by some of his fellow lawmakers.

In continuation of efforts to support rural public schools, a shipment of 10 cartoons of donated textbooks and instructional materials, which recently arrived from the United States, has been presented to the Tokpaipolu Public Elementary School in Tokpaipolu, Salala District, Bong County.

Monrovia –  As part of preparations for the physical collection of small arms and light weapons within selected communities in the country, the National Commission on Small Arms (LiNCSA) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has conducted a three-day refresher training for state security forces in Liberia.

Monrovia  – UNDP Outgoing Resident Representative Antonio Vigilante has underscored the importance of government’s decentralization policy. Mr. Vigilante urged the Ministry of Internal Affairs to continue efforts aimed at capturing citizens’ attention by giving them access to services.
