Monrovia – Liberia’s educational system continues to be described as below par with many referring to the system as messy but still there are some students who still perform to expectation in terms of academic performance.

Monrovia- Even though the Government of Liberia has dropped all charges against the Political leader of the opposition Movement for Progressive Change (MPC) Mr. Simeon Freeman, he is yet to return to Liberia.

DISASTER AND OTHER unforeseen circumstances including flood, storm, fire, etc are common everywhere in the world and this is why good and responsible governments put in place systems that will quickly deal with these kinds of events as they occur.

Monrovia-Former Commerce and Industry Minister Miatta Beysolow who was indicted during the February 2016 Term of Court and charged with economic sabotage, misapplication of entrusted property, criminal conspiracy and facilitation as well as the violation of the Procurement and Concession procedures and processes has requested the court to drop all charges against her.

Monrovia-Following the Supreme Court ruled, mandating them to return to status quo-anti, members of the House of Representatives on Thursday held its first successful session without incident.

Monrovia –  President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has received the Letters of Credence of the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America accredited to Liberia, Her Excellency Christine Elder.

Monrovia – The General Auditing Commission (GAC) of Liberia  completed and submitted the Ebola Emergency Response Project  (EERP) Audit to the World Bank recently in line with the request made by the  World Bank for the GAC to audit the  amount earmarked  by the World Bank to eliminate the Ebola Virus Disease  in Liberia .  According to the report, the World Bank provided US$28,184,871  directly to the Government .  The Government   disbursed US$ 16,023,029 during the audit period and had a  balance of US$12, 161,842 at June 30, 2015.

Monrovia – Liberia’s Minister of Public Works (MPW), William Gyude Moore says he is prepared to live with his recent decision to cancel a bid awarded to a Liberian firm for the construction of a feeder road project, saying he has made tremendous changes at the Ministry but those against change are behind what he is describing as negative and misleading information coming from the Ministry.

Monrovia – Liberia’s football youth development programs are in limbo as several coaches will shortly be out of jobs.  According to the president of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), there are no programs or competitions for them.
