An Initiative to Help Grow Liberian Businesses MONROVIA — The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has partnered with iCampus Liberia, Growth Africa and the Accountability Lab Liberia, to support impactful Liberian entrepreneurs to scale up their ventures through access to technical assistance, mentorship and co-financing.

MONROVIA – The Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) in collaboration with the Liberian WASH sector has completed a two-day Country-Level Self-Assessment with a pledge to ensure an inclusive participatory and timely process of the country monitoring indicators on WASH.

Monrovia – The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has announced that it has placed under investigation, its Vice Chairperson, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala over allegations linking him to a conflict of interest saga at the Freeport of Monrovia.

Gbarnga, Bong County – It was moments of joy and excitement for the students and administration of the J. F. Clarke Elementary School in Gbarnga, Bong County when the Kids’ Education Engagement Project (KEEP) turned over a modern reading room stacked with books to the school.

MONROVIA – The National Civil Society Council of Liberia (NCSCL) said it is completely ‘devastated, astounded and dispirited’ over three major fire disasters occurring almost simultaneously in Monrovia, Montserrado County and Kakata, Margibi County respectively.

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – At long last, the House of Representatives has passed the bill establishing an old folks’ commission to cater to the needs of the elderly population in Liberia.
