Liberians on DED Should Start Preparing to Go Home

The Editor,

If anyone thinks that there are too many protests going on now in Liberia, then wait till they are joined by thousands from Brooklyn, Staten Island, the Bronx, Queens, Newark, West Philadelphia, Brooklyn Park in Minnesota, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, North Carolina and other cities in America.

Where are the dividends from war to a return to democracy or peace and the billions$ pumped into Liberia that President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf squandered? President Weah will become the fall guy; and now you know why Ellen handed power to a naive Weah who in turn promises to “protect Ellen.”

Just imagine tens of thousands of Liberians who in America had jobs, kids in school, had housing/apartments, access to healthcare, water and electricity and are returned home to nothing. Talking about complete chaos in Liberia.  Just a thought and not a sermon.
