LFA Extends Registration, Delays Women’s League

Monrovia – The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has extended the registration of all clubs for the 2019 Orange National League to 15 March.

The LFA has also rescheduled the start of the women’s league to 17 March, 2019.

The registration was due to end on February 23rd but clubs could not meet up with the new digital process.

The suspension of players, referees and coaches during the 2018 Orange National League, 2018/2019 National County Sports Meet and 3rd Division league has, with immediate effect, been lifted.

It followed several appeals from stakeholders, which were finally approved by the executive committee.

The LFA has also announced that, for the good of everyone, club administrators wanting to get information or document(s) from the secretariat will have to present a proper identification card bearing the club’s approved name beginning 1 March.

And only clubs with official email accounts will receive official email from the LFA effective March 10.

Those decisions were communicated to all stakeholders by LFA Secretary-General Isaac Montgomery on 25 February.
