Dixon succeeds Sayou Doekpeh, who transitions into the role of Vice President for Players’ Welfare following a strategic executive reshuffle.

The appointment of Dixon marks a significant milestone for Borough FC popularly known as the “Pride of the Borough” as the club actively works to elevate female leadership within its administrative ranks, modernize operations, and strengthen its organizational framework.

Championing Female Leadership & Administrative Reform

In her new capacity, Dixon will work closely with executive leadership, club stakeholders, and community partners to manage daily operations and drive Borough FC’s strategic vision.

According to the club her entry into senior football management represents an inspiring benchmark for women breaking barriers in Liberia’s male-dominated sports landscape.

The executive board expressed complete confidence in Dixon’s administrative capabilities, vision, and deep-rooted dedication to community empowerment.

“Welcome to the Borough family, Vice President Angela Sienorkiaploh Pambala Dixon,” the club announced in an official release. “Together, we rise. Together, we win. The Borough Way!”

Beyond her new role in football administration, Dixon is already a prominent civic leader in New Kru Town community.

She is the founder and organizer of the annual New Kru Town Jamboree, a highly successful community sports and cultural festival that has thrived for four consecutive years.

Her track record of grassroots mobilization and event management is expected to inject fresh vitality into Borough FC’s operational strategy.

Dixon Reacts to Appointment

Reacting to her appointment, Dixon expressed profound gratitude to the club’s leadership and pledged her commitment to building a sustainable future for the organization.

“I am deeply humbled and honored to accept the appointment as Vice President for Operations of Borough Football Club,” Dixon stated. “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Board of Directors and President Sylvanus Kelvin Morris for their trust and confidence in my leadership.”

“Football is more than just a game it is a community, a passion, and a driving force for unity. I am committed to working tirelessly alongside the management team, coaching staff, and our loyal supporters to elevate this club to new heights. Together, we will build a sustainable foundation for our players and inspire excellence both on and off the pitch.”

Sayou Doekpeh Transitions to Player Welfare Champion

Meanwhile, former Operations Chief Sayou Doekpeh takes over as Vice President for Players’ Welfare, reflecting Borough FC’s commitment to placing athlete well-being at the heart of its administrative philosophy.

Having previously managed operational affairs, Doekpeh’s transition leverages his deep understanding of internal club dynamics to bridge the gap between the playing squad and top management.

In his new role, Doekpeh will oversee player health, discipline, personal development, and grievance resolution, ensuring athletes are fully supported on and off the pitch.

“Borough Football Club warmly congratulates Sayou Doekpeh on his appointment and looks forward to his continued service and contributions to the club,” the management statement noted.

According to Borough FC leadership, these dual executive appointments signal a broader commitment to professionalizing the club’s corporate structure paving the way for enhanced administrative stability, greater female representation in governance, and long-term competitive success.
