Siewelee revealed that since its inception in 2020 by US-based founder and president, Grant, the academy has prioritized the holistic development of its players.

He noted that the president has remained steadfast in funding healthcare and educational scholarship opportunities for the young athletes.

Currently, the academy boasts of 47 athletes across three developmental tiers: 15 players each in the Under-10 and Under-12 categories, and 17 players in the Under-15 squad.

“We are grateful to the parents because they continue to follow the guidelines and principles of the academy, which helps us greatly in molding these young players,” Siewelee said.

“We encourage them to maintain this positive support whenever they are called upon.”

The manager highly praised Head Coach Esau Masyedu and the technical team for their consistency during the academy’s regular Saturday training sessions which he pointed to EFA’s strength  in recent friendly matches against rival academies as concrete proof of tactical progress.

The most notable success story belongs to the Under-12 squad, which currently sits comfortably at the top of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Grassroots League table, commanding 16 points from six matches.

Siewelee attributed the stellar run directly to Coach Masyedu’s tactical expertise and dedication.

The academy manager paid tribute to Grant for his unwavering financial and structural backing, which ensures that the children excel not just on the pitch, but in their overall personal growth.
