Monrovia — A wave of spiritual renewal swept across Capitol Hill as Rainbow Global, a youth-focused Christian organization, convened a one-day inter-university revival that drew students from several higher institutions across the country.

The event, held on Friday, April 24 at the University of Liberia’s Main Campus, Capitol Hall, was organized under the theme: “The Healing Light of God.”
Branded as the “All Universities Campus Fire,” the gathering brought together participants from the University of Liberia, Stella Maris Polytechnic University, African Methodist Episcopal University, and other institutions.
Designed to inspire spiritual growth and purpose among young people, the revival featured a lineup of gospel ministers and speakers, including Apostle Dr. Simeon Dunbar of Liberty Church, Pastor Israel Zayzay, and Minister Jesse Pratt.
Delivering the keynote message, Apostle Dunbar spoke on “The God Factor in All of Our Preparation,” drawing from 2 Chronicles 27:6. Addressing the largely youthful audience, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing spiritual development during the formative years of life.
“The first twenty-five years are critical years of preparation,” he noted. “Placing God at the center of that preparation is essential for lasting success.”
Participants described the program as impactful and spiritually uplifting. Blessing Myers, a student at the University of Liberia, said the message resonated deeply with her.
“It was a powerful reminder that our relationship with God is a personal decision,” she said. “It challenged us as young people to return to Christ intentionally, regardless of our past.”
Another attendee, Nicodemus Trueh, highlighted the atmosphere of worship and reflection. “There was a strong sense of God’s presence,” he remarked. “Many lives were touched, and it encouraged us to stay committed to God despite our shortcomings.”
The event concluded with an altar call and anointing session, where many participants dedicated or rededicated their lives to the Christian faith.
Founder of Rainbow Global, Brother Promise Fernandez, described the revival as a milestone for the organization. “This is the first time we have hosted a unified campus fire bringing together students from multiple universities,” he said. “Seeing such a turnout affirms that God is at work among the youth of Liberia.”
Founded on January 28, 2018, Rainbow Global is a Christian organization committed to nurturing spiritual growth among young people.
The group focuses on helping youths discover their identity and purpose through biblical teachings, discipleship, and mentorship initiatives.
Guided by the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19–20, the organization aims to draw young people closer to God, inspire purposeful living, and contribute to spiritual transformation across communities in Liberia and beyond.
Rainbow Global envisions a generation of empowered youth living out their faith across schools, campuses, and communities, with a mission centered on helping individuals discover and fulfill their destinies in Christ.
In a statement following the event, the leadership of Rainbow Global expressed gratitude to participants, ministers, and supporters for contributing to what they described as a divinely inspired gathering.
“We are thankful for the lives touched and the unity witnessed among students from different institutions,” the statement read. “We believe this marks the beginning of a greater move of God among the youth of our nation.”
