The incident occurred on Tuesday, causing widespread panic among residents and leaving many without their belongings. The flames consumed the family’s home, destroying numerous treasured possessions in the process.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the fire rapidly spread to the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) power lines, prompting a desperate response from community members who attempted to contain the blaze and prevent it from reaching adjacent structures.

Residents have voiced their anger regarding the absence of the Fire Service, which they believe could have mitigated the fire’s impact and potentially saved lives. This incident has sparked a renewed discussion among the community about fire safety measures and the importance of preparedness.

In the aftermath of this tragedy, local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, as the community grapples with the emotional and material devastation left in its wake.
