Monrovia– Liberia Football Association Central Monrovia third division sub committee side Lofa FC on Wednesday January 10, 2024 secured their third victory of the season in seven matches played so far.

The Wologisi boys pulled a 3-1 win over Red Lions at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) to keep their championship hope alive.
Justtin Kokarr scored a brace and Jefferson Quenzur added Lofa FC third goal while David Temor scored Red Lions lone goal.
Lofa FC president George Tulay described his team’s victory as timely but called on his players to try their best to win their remaining games in the league if they are to advance to the second round of the league.
‘’I think the victory my team got today is a timely victory but I want them to keep it on until they win our remaining games if they are to qualify for the second round of the league because out of the seven games we played in the league, they only won three and lost four which is a setback for us.” Tulay said.
Striker Timor who scored Red Lion’s consolation goal blamed his player’s lack of ball possession and finishing for his team’s defeat but called on his teammates to learn from their mistakes made so that they can make a comeback in their next game.
In another match played Mamba Point Warriors maintained their undefeated record in the LFA Central Monrovia sub–committee third division league with a 3-1 triumph over Junior Marshall.
Mamba Point Warriors FC has won six and secured a draw in seven games played.
Striker Christopher B. Jallah attributed his side’s winning spree in the league to their tactical ball control and skillful goal-scoring techniques.
He also vowed that they will continue their good ball control and skillful goal scoring techniques until their dream of qualifying for the LFA third division playoff come to reality.
FC Garwo also suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Ambassadors in the day’s last game.
