Coach Pele as he’s popularly known in Liberian football replaces Samuel Sumo who took Lofa to the Grand final of the 2022/2023 County meet final.

George Sesay has served on the Lofa county technical team as deputy coach and trainer respectively for the past years.

He was part of the Lofa county title winning team over three years ago.

Lofa County also maintained Otis Tarnue as Deputy head coach for the football team.

According to a release the County also maintained Johnny Sumo as goalkeeper trainer, while Sam Sarfor was appointed as trainer for the team.

The Lofa County technical team has been mandated to recollect the National County Sports Meet title surprisingly missed by Lofa last year to Nimba County.

The Lofa County Sports Steering Committee says the appointment of the coaches takes immediate action.

Meanwhile, Lofa County have begun justification of both football and kickball players ahead of the start of the National County Sports Meet in December.

Justifications for players for the football team are taking place at the Baptist Seminar.

Lofa County are paired against Grand Bassa and Margibi Counties in Group D.
