Monrovia – The Liberia Football Association officially launched the third edition of the national grassroots U-12 league on Saturday, February 10th, beginning with the Central Monrovia Sub-Committee.

Acting LFA president Sekou W. Konneh declared the league open on Saturday, February 10th, at the Blue Field in PHP Community. He expressed satisfaction with the youngsters’ excitement leading up to the league’s opening and encouraged them to take full advantage of the opportunity.
The national U-12 grassroots league is part of the LFA’s commitment to developing grassroots football as one of the key components of football development programs.
The league will subsequently kick off in the ELWA and Gardnerville Sub-committees (Montserrado), as well as seven other counties: Margibi, Bong, Nimba, Grand Gedeh, Sinoe, and Gbarpolu.
