Monrovia- The Chief Executive Officer of United Soccer Ambassador FC (USA) Veteran Prince Walker has been honor by Christ United Football Academy (CUFA) for his financial and and moral support to the football academy.

CUFA a grassroots football club over the weekend celebrated its fourth year anniversary with excitement as one of Liberia’s best Grassroots clubs, on Sunday October 15 at the Grace Baptist pitch in Barnersville.
The day’s activities began with a thrilling game involving hosts Christ United Football Academy(CUFA) and City Rangers which ended in a 2-1 victory for the hosts CUFA.
The match was followed by an honoring program at which time CEO Walker and others were honored for their numerous services rendered to the club as they were presented with beautiful Roses.
Speaking after receiving his honor, Mr. Walker thanked the organizers for the ceremony and congratulated CUFA for its fourth year anniversary.
He also thanked the visitors City Rangers for celebrating with CUFA and presented a cash of US$ 100.00 and promised them a set of jersey.
He also urged the players to take their education seriously saying ” not everyone will be lucky to play professional football. “it is therefore advisable to go to school. “Always listen to your parents”.
Prince walker who is a former footballer who played for former Liberia Football Association 2nd division club USA FC was quick to hailed Liberians for the peaceful manner they exhibited during the just ended October 10, 2023 general elections.
He said the 14 years of war took the country backward so Liberians should resist any form of elections violence.
It can be recalled that prior to the October 10,2023 presidential and legislative elections, Prince Walker who is the CEO of USA Veterans and Small Town musical group urged hundreds of youths in and out of Central Monrovia to say no to violence.
“My people, Liberia is all we have. “This is our beloved country. “We must say no to violence and go to vote peacefully”, CEO Walker told the youths at the offices of the Prince Walker Group of Companies, few blocks from the old ministry of defense.
As part of his initiative to create non-violence election awareness about 1,000 youths were served delicious food by caterers as the message of non-violence was echoed to them repeatedly amidst cheers as they ate the sumptuous meal.
The sportsmen and humanitarian without borders, Prince Walker, since arriving in Liberia from his base in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States late May, has been engaged in peace initiatives creating awareness of non-violence ahead of the October 10,2023 elections in various parts of the country mainly through kickball and football matches and distribution of bags of rice, copy books, book bags, etc.
