Liberia: LIBA Signs MoU with Egyptian Business Association to Boost Trade Ties

A delegation from the Liberian Business Association, led by President James M. Strother, has begun engagement with the Egyptian Business Association in a move aimed at giving LIBA greater corporate visibility, rebuilding public trust, and expanding its global network.

The engagement led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between LIBA and EABA. Strother signed the agreement on behalf of LIBA, creating a framework for partnership between Egyptian and Liberian-owned businesses to benefit both countries.

The Liberian Embassy in Cairo witnessed the signing ceremony, representing Liberian citizens and the Boakai-Koung administration in Egypt.

Strother described the MOU as timely, saying it would serve as an engine to add value to Liberian-owned businesses and elevate them to a higher level if properly utilized.

The Egyptian Business Association welcomed the agreement, calling it a bridge that will further strengthen the long-term diplomatic and economic relationship between the two business associations.
