The incident, according to a report by Women And Children Protection Section of the Liberia National Police, the incident occurred on February 11,
WACPS’ report added that the Defendant was arrested by the police based on complaints filed by the mothers of the minors on separate occasions about how their two children were allegedly raped by Defendant Doebah.
One of the mother (name with heild) is reported to have alleged that on February 10, 2019 at about 14hr Defendant Doebah allegedly raped her 10-yr old daughter while another mother (name withheld) stated that on February 11 her three -year old daughter was sexually abused by the Defendant by allegedly using his finger in her private part.
“ In an interview with police, both victims stated that on February 10 and 11 respectively they were sexually abused (fingered) by the Defendant (Bobby Doebah),” the police report added.
The report stated that one of the witnesses Jamesetta Kerkula of the same community told the police that on February 11 at 3:00 pm she saw Defendant Doebah and one of the victims (name withheld) lying down in a big chair and the victim was heard saying that the Defendant was fingering her.
Also, the police stated that the second witness identified as Martha Blessing said she saw the Defendant with one of the victims behind his house.
The third witness, Mary Dahn also of the Symthe Road Community, said she saw the Defendant kissing the three-year-old victim but did not state where they were kissing.
During an investigation, Defendant Doebah denied the allegation but the police resolved to charged him based on the medical report from the Hope for Women International Medical Center on the A.B. Tolbert Road which established that the two victims were raped.
However, while was being escorted to the Monrovia City Court Tuesday, February 19, Doebah again denied the allegation.
He told reporters that the allegation levied against him was a made-up from the mothers of the two children because of their difference that they had in the past during the 2017 Presidential Elections when he supported the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) while the plaintiff mothers supported the Unity Party (UP).
