Sanoyea District, Bong County – A ‘jealous’ lover, Sulon Mulbah, 28, has been arrested by police in Bong County for brutally killing his lover, Hawa Gbokolo, 22.
Report by Selma Lomax, [email protected]
The hot lover reportedly stabbed the young girl to death on Thursday, June 6, 2019, when they both met in a village called Jarkpah Town in Sanoyea District and dumped her remains by the roadside.
The deceased was said to have gone to her boyfriend’s house where she was expected to pass the night.
An allegation of infidelity leveled by the green-eyed lover boy against his girlfriend was said to have degenerated into a fierce argument.
In a counter-accusation, the girl was said to have also expressed resentment over her boyfriend returning home late as she was already seeing another girl. In a fit of anger, he allegedly stabbed her with a knife in her right breast.
Sulon, who is now in police custody in Gbarnga, was said to have fled to the nearby town to evade arrest but his furious relative gave him up. He was arrested the same day by police.
The chief superintendent of Bong County Police Detachment, Frederick Nappy, said the suspect has confessed and admitted that he did murder his lover and dumped her body near a town.
Nappy noted that the suspect admitted to having killed his girlfriend with a knife.
Mulbah faces charges of murder and manslaughter, according to police.
