The Netherlands – Members of the Liberian Community residing in the Netherlands under the banner the Liberian Association in the Netherlands(LAN) have elected a new corps of officers for a two year term. Those elected were; Madam Mildred Scholte, President, Madam Mamie Free, Vice President, Madam Lovetee Fayiah De Wert, General Secretary and Mr. Anthony R. Morwon, Treasurer.

MONROVIA – The host of the Miss. Liberia 2022 Beauty Pageant, XL Entertainment Inc, and the MWETANA Consulting & Technology Group, an Information Technology Company have signed a partnership contract for Miss Liberia. MWETANA Consulting & Technology Group serves as the Title sponsor of the pageant and as the lead Technology Partner.

Dr. Dougbeh Chris Nyan, M.D. – Infectious Disease Scientist and Inventor WASHINGTON, DC. – The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted Liberian infectious disease scientist, Dr. Dougbeh Christopher Nyan of Shufflex Biomed, a second patent for his invention of a rapid diagnostic test that detects multiple infections in less than an hour.

Sinoe County – As part of Golden Veroleum (Liberia) Inc. (GVL)’s commitment to support and improve the school system within its area of operations, GVL has put a smile on the faces of over 100 children for having the Elementary School in Nitran, Sinoe County refurbished with six classrooms.
