-Launched First Ever Relational Competency and Peace-building Tool in Liberia The Foundation of Women (FFW) in partnership with Change Agent Network (CAN) has begun liaising with authorities at the Ministry of Education (MOE) for the introduction of “Safe Conversations” (SC) into the Liberian educational curriculum. The goal is to teach SC dialogues and tenets in all schools within the borders of Liberia. This remarkable relational competency and peace-building tool was introduced to Liberia in 2020 through a partnership between Change Agent Network – USA (CAN) and the Foundation for Women (FFW), both organizations currently operating in Liberia.
A Liberian Humanitarian has received four prestigious awards from reputable organizations based in the United States for her consistent advocacy and untiring supports towards the improvement of the wellbeing and dignity of thousands of less fortunate Liberians, including children and old folks in Liberia and other parts of the world. MONROVIA – On October 26, 2022, the Liberia Youth Task Team of the Africa Youth Partnership advocates for equitable recovery from the global COVID-19 pandemic, held its first National Dialogue on two thematic areas “Education and Skills training.” The event was held at iCampus on Carey Street in Monrovia. This dialogue brought together five partners including development along with 36 participants from the disabled community, youth groups, advocates, journalists and students of Liberia. The purpose of event was to discuss ways that would contribute to the development of marginalized (At-Risk Youths, Visually Impaired and Physically Challenged) groups in Liberia.
Monrovia – The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) in collaboration with the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) kicked off a five-day training workshop on the effective management of the National External Quality Assessment (EQA) Program for medical laboratories in Liberia in the context of Covid-19. The workshop which is being held at the Cape Hotel in Mamba Point, Monrovia commenced on Monday, November 14, 2022, and will end on Friday, November 18, 2022.

In an effort to ensure zero tolerance against sexual and gender based violence (SGBV), medica Liberia (mL) in collaboration with modiale (Germany) is conducting a five-day Stress Trauma Sensitive Approach (STA) training. The training, which is being held in Marshall, Margibi County, is being conducted under the project titled: “Concerted Action for Zero Tolerance Against S/GBV in the Mano River Region,” with funding from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation of Germany (BMZ).
