Monrovia – Nine clubs have been officially admitted as members of the Liberia Football Association Congress. The clubs include Samira FC, Paynesville FC, Sinoe NPA, all of the male second and first division respectively and Shaita Angels FC, Ravia Angels FC, JUST FC, LEAD MFA, Senior Female Professionals, and Bassa Girls FC of the Lower and Upper female league got admitted at the LFA’s 27th Ordinary Congress held in Paynesville at the newly constructed headquarters of the LFA.

MONROVIA – Monrovia witnessed the 27th Ordinary Congress of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) held over the weekend at the new LFA headquarters, where over 100 accredited stakeholders were present. The proposals put forth by the LFA Executive committee and ideology of Mustapha Raji were not rejected by the stakeholders who had been previously demanding more money for clubs and development. Pepper FC, the Monrovia-Gardnerville third division champions, have been crowned champions of the Montserrado Sub Association Division playoff. The Barnesville-based club labored to a 1-0 win over Discoveries SA on Sunday at the Tusa Sports Pitch. Both teams put on an entertaining display for the fans who turned out for the final, and it was a classic match between the Johnsonville Sub-committee champions and the Gardnersville Subcommittee champions, resulting in a goalless first half following several missed chances for either side.

Monrovia – The race to the second division league continued in the Montserrado County Sub-Association third Division Playoff. As teams from across the country prepare for the national playoff, four teams from Montserrado County have advanced to the semi-finals of this year’s Montserrado County Division Playoffs. Among them are Gardnersville-based Pepper FC, Brewerville United, Philadelphia Lone Star, and youthful Discoveries Football Academy. The four teams will represent Montserrado later this month in the National Third Division Playoffs that will take place in Monrovia.
