Coach Laquie has a qualification no other Liberian coach has as he holds a UEFA A elite License with MSc in advanced performance football coaching degree as well as UEFA C,B, and A licenses that can be easily perused with no controversy on displaying his coaching credentials.
The former defender during his days on the local scene, has a huge chunk of experience in youth football and has developed many young talents in an area like Canada where many youth talents were under his tutelage. “ I see Liberia struggling to qualify for these youth competitions in the midst of too much talents. “Six players from the U-16 who were promoted to the U-17 of Canada to play at the recent FIFA World Cup in Indonesia were under my tutelage and i’m ready to do same for my country Liberia.
With stints at various levels of Canadian club Toronto FC, the winning coach can be a massive help to Liberia’s youth football program. Thus, the Liberia Football Association ( LFA) can start the ball rolling in first getting in touch with coach Laquie in the soonest time possible.
