During the weekend dedication ceremony, Boikai Hill, the proprietor of the health center, explained that his decision to establish the facility stemmed from witnessing the inadequate treatment people received at other health centers and pharmacies. While Mr. Hill did not disclose the names of the health providers, he revealed that many individuals were often turned away by medical practitioners in Monrovia due to the unavailability of necessary medication.
According to Mr. Hill, Zenith Pharmaceutical has been established with the intention of making a meaningful contribution to the country’s healthcare recovery process, especially in areas of Liberia that lack sufficient health facilities. Equipped with a team of trained professionals, the center is fully prepared to handle critical medical cases arising from the community and beyond.
Highlighting the limitations of government-owned health centers in the country, Mr. Hill emphasized the need for additional healthcare facilities to support their efforts. He urged residents of Barnesville estate and surrounding communities to take advantage of the center by bringing their sick relatives there for quality medical attention and services.
“I have always harbored the ambition to open a pharmacy, and today, I am thrilled to see it become a reality. Our motto is ‘caring beyond drugs’,” expressed Hill, radiating enthusiasm.
The Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Pharmaceutical reiterated that the institution was established to provide care not only for the people of Gardnerville but for Liberia as a whole. He emphasized that while dispensing drugs was an essential aspect of their work, their ultimate goal was to go above and beyond the limitations of medication and save lives.
The CEO encouraged his employees to prioritize the best interests of their patients, underscoring the significance of this approach, which is often lacking in Liberia’s health sector. He disclosed that the pharmaceutical investment exceeded ten thousand United States dollars.
During the official opening of Zenith Pharmaceutical, Boikai Hill shared his vision of expanding the health center in the coming years and fostering a friendly and supportive relationship with patients.
