Monrovia – The Maryland County Legislative Caucus has divulged its new leadership to steer the affairs of the Caucus. In a news conference held last Thursday in Monrovia, the Caucus named Rep. Isaac Roland as its Chairman, Sen. Dahn Morias, Co-Chair and Rep. P. Mike Jurry Secretary. Other Maryland County Lawmakers named to the Caucus leadership include; Sen. Gbleh-bo Brown, Financial Secretary, and Speaker Bhofal Chambers, preferred as the Caucus’ Advisor.
Addressing a news conference at the Capitol Building, Rep. P. Mike Jurry, flanked by the Rep. Isaac Roland, told newsmen that the Caucus reached the decision on its leadership, following a consensus amongst its members over the period and the new leadership will steer the affairs of the Caucus for the next few years.
Rep. Jurry says the new leadership is in cognizance of the challenges of the County and will do all in its ambits legislatively to tackle and mitigate the challenges of the people of Maryland County, by championing the essence of good leadership.
For his part, the new Chairman of the Maryland County Legislative Caucus, Rep. Isaac B. Roland, asserted that his leadership in the Caucus will foster togetherness amongst members and will harness development for the majority of people of the County considering each member portfolio to their respective districts and the County at-large.
Rep. Roland however averred that the Caucus has huge confidence in the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Bhofal Chambers, who also represents Pleebo-Sodoken District of the County and hopes that Maryland County becomes a prime priority even at the national development trajectory of the country.
