MONROVIA – Two black snakes were discovered coming from a hole on the wall behind the security desk on the ground floor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which also hosts the offices of President George Weah.
It is unclear how the snakes entered the building.
The Deputy Press Secretary, Smith Toby, told FrontPageAfrica his office was conducting an inquiry on the matter.
The Communication Director of the Executive Protection Service (EPS), Philip Moore, could not be reached via mobile phone for comments.
However, an Executive Mansion source informed FrontPageAfrica the EPS could not kill the snakes as they escaped through the same passage it attempted coming out from.
Beneath the ground floor of the building is a basement.
The building was fumigated on April 1.
