The tournament, scheduled for November 13–22 in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico, will feature 24 nations competing for the world title.
Liberia is one of seven African nations that qualified for the global showcase.
Coach Benson’s roster features four foreign-based professionals alongside 11 domestic players selected from local clubs LASA, Survival, and Conquerors.

Their experience in competitive international leagues is expected to provide critical depth and composure as the squad prepares to challenge top-ranked nations.
The 11 home-based players selected for the final squad are Benedict Kollie Karbah, Isaac Tokpah, Prince Wymah, Emmanuel Paye, Junior Melawon, Moses Nuah, Matthew Bucket, Varsay Sirleaf, Emmanuel Blah, Alfred Kollie, and Francis Fallah.
Focus on Discipline and Form
Explaining the selection process, Coach Benson emphasized that the technical staff prioritized recent form, tactical discipline, and experience to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level.
“We have selected players who are ready to fight for the country. This is our final battle squad for Mexico,” Benson said. “We call on all Liberians, including the government and private sector, to rally behind this team.”
Logistics and Visa Processing in Ghana
With the roster finalized, the technical staff has shifted its focus to travel logistics, funding, and visa acquisition.
The delegation is expected to travel to Accra, Ghana, in the coming days to complete visa processing at the Mexican Embassy before embarking on the final leg of their trip to Mexico.
Securing adequate financial and logistical backing remains essential for the team as departure dates draw near.
Liberia’s amputee football leadership is urging national stakeholders to ensure the squad is fully supported to carry the Lone Star flag with pride on the global stage.
