The development follows reports that the former Vice President is experiencing very high blood pressure, reportedly as the joint security prepared to transfer her to court for further proceedings.
FrontPageAfrica Judicial Bureau Chief, monitoring developments at the police headquarters, observed medical practitioners being taken into the withholding cell where Madam Taylor is being held.
The medical personnel were reportedly brought in to assess her condition and assist in stabilizing her blood pressure.
Information gathered from the corridor of the Liberia National Police Headquarters indicates that authorities may continue monitoring Taylor’s condition throughout the day.
Her transfer to court could depend on whether her condition stabilizes sufficiently to permit the movement.
Meanwhile, security personnel remain stationed at the Monrovia City Court, where preparations had reportedly been made for Taylor’s appearance.
As of the latest observation, there has been no official confirmation of a new transfer time. Authorities are expected to determine the next course of action based on her medical condition and prevailing security considerations.
