Sylvester Doe, Borough FC’s emerging star, is enjoying a great season in the Liberian First Division League, announcing himself as one of the country’s most promising young talents.

With nine goals already to his name, the teenage attacker has become the heartbeat of Borough’s frontline and a beacon of hope for a club battling to climb away from the relegation zone.

Doe’s latest contribution came in Borough FC’s crucial 2-0 away victory over LPRC Oilers, where he once again found the back of the net with composure beyond his years.

His goal not only sealed an important win but also underlined his growing reputation as a reliable finisher in high-pressure moments.

Blessed with pace, close control, and an instinctive eye for goal, Doe has consistently troubled defenders across the league. Yet, beyond the flair and finishing, it is his maturity and quiet efficiency on the pitch that have caught the attention of supporters.

“He is not the loudest player on the field, but he is one of the smartest,”  Borough FC fan Isaac Toe told FrontPage Africa.

“He studies the game, makes the right runs, and delivers when it matters most.”

As Borough FC prepares for a decisive clash against Heaven Eleven at the D. Tweh Field this Sunday, much of the spotlight will once again fall on the young forward.

The club’s survival hopes could hinge on his ability to maintain his scoring touch in the weeks ahead.

Despite his impressive numbers, many believe Doe remains underrated in broader football discussions a situation that is rapidly changing as his performances continue to speak volumes.

A Career on the Rise

Since joining Borough FC three years ago, Doe has developed steadily, sharpening his game with each passing season.

This campaign, however, appears to mark his true arrival, with growing calls for his inclusion in Liberia’s youth national team setup.

Football  lover on the Bushrod Island argue that his consistency, discipline, and attacking threat make a strong case for international recognition.

“Players like Sylvester should not be overlooked,” young Liberian coach Emmanuel Davies emphasized. “If we are serious about building the future of Liberian football, we must start integrating talents like him early.”

Borough FC, known for its strong tradition of developing players, has produced notable names such as Oscar Dorley, Prince Balde, Teah Dennis, Sylvanus Nimely, and Nicholas Andrew.

Many now see Doe as the next in line to follow that path to prominence.

For now, the teenager remains focused on the immediate task helping his team secure safety and finish the season on a high.

But with each goal, Sylvester Doe is doing more than just winning matches; he is building a case for a future that could extend far beyond the domestic league.

And if his current form is anything to go by, Liberia may not have to wait long to see its next football star rise.
