
Monrovia – The Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) of Liberia, Peter L, Solo and his Deputy Director General for Lotto Games, Richlue O. Burphy, recently paid a weeklong working visit to the Ghana National Lottery Authority (GNLA) in Accra, Ghana.
The visit aimed to strengthen partnerships, share best practices, and explore opportunities for collaboration between the two lottery authorities.
During the visit, the Director General held fruitful discussions with the management team of GNLA, focusing on areas such as regulatory frameworks, game development, technology, marketing and innovation.
The two lottery authorities also explored potential areas of cooperation, including capacity building and knowledge sharing.
The visit provided a platform for the NLA to learn from GNLA’s experiences and expertise in lottery operations and management.
The Director General expressed his appreciation for the warmed reception and hospitality extended by GNLA and emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in advancing the interests of the lottery industries in both countries.
The NLA and GNLA have agreed to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining areas of cooperation and collaboration.
The MOU is expected to enhance the operations and management of both lottery authorities, ultimately contributing to the development of the lottery industry in Liberia and Ghana. NLA is committed to strengthening partnerships and collaborations with regional and international lottery authorities to enhance its operations and contribute to the growth and development of the lottery industry in Liberia.
